How long is the Fair?
Custer Fair runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 9pm. Please note that some sections of the fair close at 7pm.
Where can I find out about the entertainment listings?
Entertainment listings can be found online on our website at: www.custerfair.com Or, you can find the listings in the Custer Fair program, which is available at the entrance gates.
What is the nearest public transportation?
CTA The Main Street stations on the CTA purple line is located in the center of the fair. CTA train schedules are available at www.transitchicago.com Metra Train The Main Street Evanston station on the Metra North line is located in the center of the fair. Metra rail schedules are available at www.metrarail.com.
The 201, 202 and 203 CTA buses service the fair area. CTA bus schedules are available at www.transitchicago.com.
The 204, 250 and 426 Pace buses service the fair area. Pace bus schedules are available at www.pacebus.com.
How much does it cost?
Custer Fair is a FREE event!
Where can I park?
Parking in the area is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We recommend you arrive by public transportation.
Is there handicapped parking available?
Yes, there is designated handicapped parking available in City of Evanston parking lots. The two City Lots closest to the fair are located at: Hinman Ave./Kedzie St. and Sherman Ave./Lee St.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes! We love animals — please bring your pet and don't forget the baggie.
Are there children's activities?
Yes — Eiden Park has children's activities and entertainment.
